Charitable Giving
The Towry Charitable Trust, with a capital base of around £1.3 million, supports local and national charities proposed by our employees.
The Towry Charitable Trust (TCT) is also a Patron of The Prince's Trust. Towry share many locations with the Prince's Trust's programmes and hope that this close geography will help with the assistance it can provide.
There are more than one million young people in the UK not in education, employment or training. The Prince's Trust focuses its efforts on those people who need help the most and Towry is very keen to lend its support.
The Towry Charitable Trust has a heritage in supporting the charitable activities of Towry employees over many years. This includes company-wide initiatives such as Children in Need, Red Nose Day and Wear it Pink, and also staff activities local to our offices. The Charitable Trust contributes to the fund raising activities of all our staff where they are supporting registered charities. Some of the activities our employees have been involved in recently include:
- A skydive in Edinburgh in aid of The Sick Kids Friends Foundation
- Organising a charity dinner in Leeds in aid of the MS Society
- Running the London Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK
- Running the Belfast Marathon in aid of Tiny Life
- Completing the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of the British Heart Foundation
- Competing in 'It's a Knockout' in Bracknell in aid of Debra
We are also committed to contributing a proportion of our profits to the Charitable Trust annually.
