Over £2000 raised by Towry charity quiz
A charity quiz evening organised by Towry, the Wealth Adviser, raised more than £2000 for The Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Raffle prizes and auction items were donated by local businesses including Bovey Castle, Exeter City Football Club, Exeter Chiefs, Downes Crediton Golf Club, Stober Golf Club, Berrybrook Motors and others.
Over £2000 was raised for The Devon Air Ambulance Trust, the charity which raises the funds to keep the county's two emergency Air Ambulances flying. Every year £4.5 million is needed to keep both of the helicopters airborne.
Rob Chandler, Regional Manager – Wealth Advice, commented:
"We are very encouraged by the response to this function, particularly given the current economic situation. The money is going to a charity that we know does a fantastic job looking after people in the community."
Heléna Holt, CEO, Devon Air Ambulance Trust, added:
"The team at Towry have put a lot of their own time, money and hard work into supporting us, and we can't thank them enough. Every single penny raised really does make a huge difference"
