Team Towry cycles Palace to Palace 2011
Last week, eighteen employees from the London and Bracknell offices of Towry, the Wealth Advisers, participated in the Palace to Palace 45 mile cycle between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
The event's 3,000 participants raised money for The Prince's Trust. Towry are Silver Patron's of the Prince's Trust, a charity that helps disadvantaged young people. The Towry cyclists raised nearly £3,000 pounds.
There are more than one million young people in the UK not in education, employment or training. The Prince's Trust gives these disadvantaged young people the skills, confidence and qualifications to find a job. More than three in four young people on Prince's Trust schemes go onto work, education or training.
Andrew Fisher, Chief Executive, commented:
"We are delighted that our employees raised so much money for The Prince's Trust, a charity that we strongly support. Well done to Team Towry and to everybody involved in raising money for this great cause!"
