Towry appoints Gerald Corbett as Non-Executive Director

Towry, the Wealth Advisers, today announces the appointment of Gerald Corbett as a Non-Executive Director.

Gerald is an experienced Non-Executive who currently chairs Britvic Plc and Moneysupermarket.com Plc and sits on the Non-Executive Board of Numis Securities Plc. His previous Non-Executive Director roles include Greencore Group Plc, Burmah Castrol Plc and MEPC Plc. Gerald was Chairman of SSL International Plc between 2005 and 2010 and Chairman of the Woolworth Group Plc between 2001 and 2007. During his executive career, he was Chief Executive of Railtrack Plc from 1997 to 2000 and Group Finance Director of Grand Metropolitan Plc and Redland Plc.

He is Chairman of the Trustees of Action on Hearing Loss (formerly the Royal National Institute of the Deaf) and is a Trustee of the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.
