Towry host art fundraising event for Genesis Research Trust
Last week, Towry, the Wealth Advisers, held an Autumn Evening Art Show in conjunction with TAG Fine Arts to showcase a wide range of modern art from artists including David Hockney, Andy Worhol, Damain Hirst, Banksy, Sir Peter Blake and also Katsutoshi Yuasa, who was awarded the ‘Towry prize’ at the Royal Academy of Arts earlier this year.
Nearly £3,000 was raised for Genesis Research Trust, the team of scientists and clinicians, whose founding chairman is Professor Robert Winston, who are dedicated to researching the causes and cures for conditions that affect the health of women and babies.
Towry's guests were joined the charity's Patron, Fern Britton.
Andy Cowan, Head of Wealth Advice, commented:
"At Towry, we are passionate about art and supporting charitable causes and we are delighted to have been able to raise some funds for the Genesis Research Trust thanks to the generosity of guests and the directors of TAG Fine Art."
