Towry, the Wealth Advisers, run for charity
At the weekend, a team from Towry's offices in Bracknell and Cambridge took part in the Great North Run, the world's most popular half-marathon.
Towry employees joined the event's 54,000 participants to raise money for two important charities: Breast Cancer Campaign is a unique community of scientists that identifies and funds research projects which have the greatest potential to save and improve lives. Ultimately, their aim is to find a cure for breast cancer. The Miscarriage Association is a charity offering support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy.
Towry raised almost £1,300 in total including a contribution from the Towry Charitable Trust, which supports Towry employees in their charity fundraising activities.
Andrew Fisher, Chief Executive, commented:
"We are delighted that the Towry Charitable Trust is able to support our offices in raising funds for Breast Cancer Campaign and The Miscarriage Association. Well done to everybody for their tremendous team spirit in raising money for both great causes".
